New wine plantation

We have just finished planting our new vineyard that consists of two types of grapes: Arinto and Gouveio. These are grapes used for making white wine and in the future we intend to make our own white wine with them.

Arinto is a grape that makes vibrant wines with refreshing acidity, often with a mineral quality, along with gentle flavours reminiscent of apple, lime and lemon, Arinto based wines can keep up well but are delicious young.

Gouveio produces fresh, lively wines with good acidity, plenty of body, and fresh, citrus aromas, along with peach and aniseed, and lovely balance. It ages well in bottle.
